Would have liked to see John Russell on the list. He was the lead actor in the TV show Lawman. Most will remember him as Bloody Bill Anderson in The Outlaw Josey Wales or as Marshal Stockburn in Pale Rider. |

A very difficult selection. While I think Lee Marvin did a fantastic portrayal of Liberty Valance, he did it so well that it was hard to separate hating the actor, from hating the character. |

Raynman, I found Katherine Ross in a number of westerns, but never as a gunfighter. (Maybe at one point in The Shadow Riders, but it wasn't mentioned in the summary?) Anyone hit something I missed? |
