I bought a sack of red Litko ones some years ago to use as casualty markers.
They're abstract, obviously, and hard to miss so they do the job well.

They've come in handy for various periods & using various rule sets when you don't have something more specific.

Bought a couple of 100 skull beads from ebay for £3.00 GBP odds.
Stuck them on round bases, a single skull to a pile of 6.

Even a non-gamer can guess 6 skulls bodes no good :-)

No -- I have a small number but have yet to use them.

Not plastic, but small cardboard chits of skulls.
