Not to put too sharp a point on it but while antibiotics were a huge turning point not only for infections but also because of the other things they led to, penicillin was not the first widely used antimicrobial – that was sulfanilamide (1935)

Without the Gutenberg movable type press and PDF files, how would we get our wargame rules? That takes care of two automatic picks. All the others are just scenarios.
