I got Indy Fever!!

I'm also gonna start hate-watching the Dream to get worked up about that lowdown villain Angel Reese and her dedication to committing crimes on the court.

Otherwise, I'm not a sports guy in any other shape or form; Super Bowl Sunday is about it.

If the OFM can openly embrace K-pop Demon Hunters, surely I can get some grace for watching my Sophie and my Caitlin lay waste to all who come before them. It's quite extraordinary to behold.

The essence of a True Sports Fan is to not only love a team, but to hate others.

My sports attention span is confined to Penn State and the NFL.

I think I saw a few WNBA games from their inaugural season, 1996, and I remember a few of their star players from back then: Sheryl Swoopes with the now defunct Houston Comets, Lisa Leslie with the Los Angeles Sparks, and Rebecca Lobo with the New York Liberty. Dallas currently has a team, the Wings, and their premier player, Paige Bueckers, makes the news sometimes. Still, I don't know if I'll ever really stop down and watch a game.

But, I am paying a little more attention to the league, thanks to Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham.

As of this post, the WNBA is playing in a pseudo World Cup.
So, they aren't mugging Caitlin Clark. They're actually.. TEAMMATES!

I don't watch the NBA, so why would I watch their kid sisters do the same thing, only badly?

The only women's sports worth the watching are the ones your family members are participating in. And maybe beach volleyball.

(Seriously, I watch very little sports. Some college football, the NFL Titans if they're doing well, the Super Bowl, and The Masters on the Sunday final round. I'd watch Olympic fencing, but you can never catch it on free TV. So men's or women's, it doesn't really matter much for me. My wife likes figure skating and occasionally women's gymnastics and tennis. I only know of the WNBA from news stories and occasional clips. So I'm sure the ladies are doing their best, but their best is not really of interest to me. Plus I have a great dislike for basketball in general. The good games are decided in the last two minutes, and the bad games are decided in the first two minutes. Everything else is just random body wear-and-tear with showboating (well, the men at least).
