Just saw this movie. I thought it was very well done, especially the friction between Stagg and the American forecaster Krick as well as the portrayal of Eisenhower by Brendan Fraser. The only, very minute, quibble I had with the movie was at the end when the command post was listening to the reports coming from the landings. The dialogue that I could hear seemed to deal almost exclusively with Utah Beach but all of the interposed action scenes were almost entirely of "Bloody" Omaha. But that didn't detract from my enjoyment of the entire movie.

Went with my wife and my sister this afternoon. We also thought it was very well done. Other than a few dramatic touches for the movie, our only real quibble was the portrayal of Kaye Summersby. Her coming to the aid of Stagg as quickly as she did we just weren't sure how realistic that was. Could have been; seemed a little too 'Hollywood' to us. Overall, a very good movie we all enjoyed.

Saw it yesterday and really liked it. I agree with you Old Paul, Kaye came around real quick and no reason was given for why. But, and enjoyable film that will get gamers wanting to do a WW2 game.
