Not really re-enactment as such, but this seemed like the closest board.

Well known UK historian David Olusoga is doing a theatre tour of a history "show" called A Gun Through Time, looking at social and historical aspect of particular key weapons.

Of interest, perhaps, to fans of the Lee Enfield 303 and the Maxim. TBH the Thompson sounds the least interesting, but you nver know. Show trailer here:
