This time Martin Gero will write, direct and executive produce it and Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich who created the original movie will also be executive producers. As you know Stargate is a military sci-fi franchise that centers on the Stargate, an ancient ring-shaped device that creates a stable wormhole, enabling near-instantaneous travel across the cosmos."
