"After announcing that Nikolaj Coster Waldau and James Norton will lead their eight part historical series KING AND CONQUEROR playing 11th century figures William, Duke of Normandy, and Harold, Earl of Wessex, respectively, with Emily Beecham as Harold's wife Edith and Clemence Poésy as William's wife Matilda, BBC has unveiled the first trailer today as well for the series that will arrive according to BBC later this August which is a strange time for an expensive historical drama."
