I remember first seeing him in his film debut in WarGames (1983) in a small but memorable role. I also liked his performance in 1984's The Natural as a wise-cracking, undisciplined baseball player. He and his sister, actress Virginia Madsen, made an impact on Hollywood from the '80s on. Godspeed, Mr. Madsen, and thank you very much.

He made a lot of B-movies as well, and was always enjoyable on screen. |
