"If you are looking for something Biblical to watch ahead of Easter and don't mind that Jesus in it looks like a Latin lover, THE LAST SUPPER epic drama is ready to hit cinemas next week, March 14th with Jamie Ward leading the cast that also includes Robert Knepper as Judas Iscariot, Henry Garrett as Nicodemus, James Faulkner as Caiaphas, James Oliver Wheatley as Saint Peter, Mayssae El Halla as Mary, mother of Jesus, Nathalie Rapti Gomez as Mary Magdalene, Daniel Fathers as Joseph of Arimathea, Harry Anton as Simon the Zealot. A powerful cinematic Biblical journey that brings to life the ultimate act of love and sacrifice as seen through the eyes of those who walked alongside Jesus, it unveils untold perspectives, offering a deeply human and spiritual exploration of the moments that shaped history and faith. Through the diverse voices surrounding Him, the story invites audiences to witness a powerful and intimate portrayal of redemption and grace. "

Please, no spoilers.

I was recently in a meeting and some folks were talking about "The Chosen". One of the members said "I don't think it will turn out good for Jesus" and I jumped in with the comment "You read the book".

I'm getting old. I didn't recognize a single actor named as being in the movie. It looks good.
