What charmed me about Stranger Things was that the stock characters you would expect to be Bad Guys were anything but.
First episode, I fully expected the diner owner to perv on Eleven. I must be too cynical from other shows. No. He saved that little girl.
Same with the Sheriff. They're always Bad Guys, right? Nope. Another Good Guy. And the Jock! No! I usually lose track of a show with multiple seasons every year, but my son tells me they're all good. |
