OMG. And not in a good way. But at least I'll be able to say that I was one of the select few that actually saw it on a big screen  We had a private screening…no-one else showed up for it. |

Mark Kermode (a leading UK film critic) was also not a fan: YouTube link I don't completely agree – I kept feeling that Adam Driver was on the cusp of doing something really good and then….he just didn't. I really felt like he was saying "no, just hang in here a bit longer,we're going to turn this around really soon". If he was, he was lying. The quoting big chunks of Shakespeare was unforgivable – that's only acceptable in a movie of a Shakespeare play, or Star Trek (and original crew at that!). |
