Pretty Lame and untrue. Seems to focus on Crockett being a family man which was not exactly true. he left his family behind many times in his life. Highly doubt the events shown in the trailer ever happened.

The Disney "Crockett" movies are highly enjoyable, even when they wear history lightly upon their shoulders.

I don't remember much about Fess Parker's similar "Daniel Boone" series but enjoyed it at the time. I ought to pick up some DVDs sometime. But there's so many episodes to choose from!
