I know, I know, the reviews are truly terrible.

But the trailer looks ok….and yes, I know that is the job of a trailer….

And, yes, I agree it#'s more than weird that the Sony Spiderverse can't feature Spiderman now he's back in the MCU…that is beyond weird.

Anyone actually seen it though? Any thoughts?

I'm planning to catch it at the weekend.

I'm also interested in an answer as my wife wants to see it, so that means I'll go as well.

Ok – so please no spoilers, but an indication of whether it really is as bad as is being made out. evil grin

There's actually nothing else on at my local multiscreen that I want to see/haven't seen already so….I'm probably going to go anyway!

+1 Saber6, just saw it and not only was it far from the worst film I have ever seen but it was far from being the worst superhero/comic book film I have ever seen.

I'm baffled by the reviews. I'd go 6/10, watchable and enjoyable. I probably don't need to see it again, but I have seen worse.

Agree. My wife and I saw it on Tuesday. She like it. I thought it was a little jerky and disconnected. But it was not a bad movie as has been stated by the "movie critics."

And I completely missed the "Easter egg" at the end of the movie. Didn't know about it until I was reading an article about the movie later. But wife was more observant that I was. She did spot it.

On Rotten Tomatoes it currently has 13% from critics and 57% from ticket purchasing film goers.

I think this is a case of the critics deciding they hated it before they went and just piling on to outdo their peer group in slating it. One London paper gave it 0 stars. It's not a work of ground breaking genius but there are plenty of worse films out there.
