OMG! The History Channel should have stuck with Ancient Aliens before they picked up this piece of garbage. "The World Wars" is the most absurdly inaccurate program I think I've ever seen. I only watched a few minutes of one episode, but if that was a fair sample, the rest must be every bit as ridiculous. According to the one I saw, George Patton, after the slapping incident, was basically kept on the shelf somewhere until Hitler began his Ardennes Offensive and then in desperation, FDR (not Eisenhower or Marshall) flung George into the battle who saved the day (personally driving into Bastogne in a Sherman tank). The nonsensical narration was interspersed with some bad footage of reenactors running around in the woods. Avoid this one!

A fair and honest review. Thank you Scott for wasting those precious moments of your time so that others of us do not have to suffer. I salute you.
