Norman Lear, known for producing classic shows such as "All in the Family" and "One Day at a Time," has died.Lear, who was 101 years old, died of natural causes on Tuesday. He certainly had an important impact on TV shows. One must choose if it was good or ill. 101 years is a long time. |

Never cared for his brand of TV "comedy" (never thought they were funny). But I do appreciate his involvement in The Princess Bride, which is an absolutely perfect film. RIP. |
