I decided to give this a try (because I can get the Disney channel for free). I find that I like this quite a lot. It basically starts at the exact point in time as "The Force Awakens", except it does it right. :) No First Order, no Kylo Ren, the New Republic is in control of the galaxy (more or less) but there are Imperial Loyalists who still dream of restoring the Empire, but they are in hiding or on the run. A plot is underway to bring back the legendary Admiral Thrawn to act as a rallying point. (This is not exactly a spoiler since it gets explained in the first 5 minutes of episode 1).

The characters are likeable, even the bad guys are interesting, the action scenes exciting but not ridiculous. I think I will keep watching.

Don't know much about except for the terrible make-up of one of my favorite actresses, Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Green coloring and a huge growth on her head is such a sad waste.

Well, she plays a Twi'lek which look like that. She does a good job of it, too.

I'm enjoying it.

The writing and acting are good. Hard to argue with a good story well presented.
