"This movie drama follows veteran Bernard Jordan as he snuck out of his care home in order to go back to Normandy, where 70 years earlier he had bravely stormed the beaches as part of the D-Day Landings. Glenda Jackson plays his loving wife Rene who completely understood the closure he required, but was not well enough to accompany him personally. The two of them starred together in another movie but more than fifty years earlier! Directed by Oliver Parker it should hit British cinemas October 6th"
