Congratulations to new Zealander Shane Van Gisbergen on his win yesterday (2 July) at the inaugural NASCAR race on the streets on Chicago in the Number 91 car. He was cool and sensational as he drove from 16th to 1st place and then held off several American road-course experts. YouTube link Says he wants to race full-time with NASCAR in 2024 or 2025 after he completes his last year with Triple Eight Race Engineering. Jim |

He's pretty much in a purple patch of form in the Supercars in Australia. Be interesting if he decides to move into it full-time. |
