Deep Fried Pickles! Once I had one I've never looked back. Great way to eat your vegetables since French Fried Potatoes don't seem to count.

Pineapple on pizza was the new 'thing' when I was in college.

We also had the 'OJ' back then – remember the Juice? – which was Coke and orange juice.

I used to put peanut butter on my hamburger in college, partly because the cafeteria had 'pump'-type peanut butter that was easy to add.

Butter-and-sugar sandwiches I learned about from my mother. They had those during the Great Depression. Also ketchup sandwiches.

When I was in the Marine Corps and we were in combat I'd put peanut butter on crackers then spinkle sugar on them. Helped keep me awake.
