I am quite literally still lol!

The late night chat show monologue writers can pretty much take the day off….

I'd buy that for a dollar!

Or maybe not.

This has become embarrassing. Is this how he really sees himself? Sad.

What are you talking about? Maybe google can fill me in…

Wow. I am passed the point where I can think "no, that can't be". It's just another unbelievable things that's true. Apparently.

And they have sold out and even doubled in price. Maybe I need to invest in some of these! Doubling in price in a day? I could be rich!

Or better yet, I could try to never think of this again.

Doubling in price is an interesting thing….more important is to find someone actually buying them at double the price.

There might be a very short window of opportunity…maybe. I doubt it is a long term investment – who is going to care in 10 years time? – but then maybe the world is crazy enough that it is.

This is why I don't read the news. (This and the fact that I find out about everything I care about that's going on at work…)

He took a lot of flak in the news, even from the conservative side of the house. I guess $4.5 USDM will buy him enough consolation beers…

If you know a better way to launder money, I'd like to hear it.

Issues of personalities aside, I still have no real idea why NFTs are supposed to have value.

Artificial scarcity. And artificial demand…

It's easy to make fun of NFTs, because they're dumb, but this artist does a fair job of explaining why they might not be as completely stupid as they sound:

Of course, last December the White House did announce that the art world is "rife" with money laundering. Trump is actually very late to that party.

All demand is artificial, that is a psycho-social construct.

For the same reason tulip bulbs had value in Holland:

Also, for the same reason people use fiat currency that is backed by the same thing as NFTs – nothing but a thought.
