I always was fascinated by her beauty and personality. While serving as an extra in "North/South II" I had the pleasure of meeting her and her then husband. Two things struck me: she was so much smaller than expected and her endless patience with the reenactors who wished a photo with such a beautiful actress. I was too shy. Thankfully she will live on in film.
RIP Ms. Alley

Nice, Shag! What a coup for you, to have worked on that set!

I will always treasure her Saavik, and also her "Bunny Marie" in "A Bunny's Tale" TV movie (playing Gloria Steinhem).
