I'm surprised there aren't any posts about the new "Andor" series. Maybe a lot of folks are turned off by the Disney connection, but this is NOT a typical Disney product. Andor is a dark, gritty story of the early days of the rebellion and the Empire's attempts to crush it before it can grow. The stories are good, the characters and actors really good, and the feel of the settings in the Star Wars universe are great. It has the same sort of feel as "Rogue One". There are 12 episodes out and they just finished the 1st 'season' with an excellent episode. There were a few slow episodes in the middle parts, but they wrapped the season up with a bang. Highly recommended.

I've been wondering this myself, but then I remembered the demographics here.

Anyway, my opinion is that it is far and away the best of the Star Wars television series and is better than nearly all the films. It would shine purely on it's on merits, but on the heels of the disappointing Rings of Power, Andor is a masterclass in taking an existing universe and canon and expanding them faithfully and intelligently.

I watched half of episode one when life interrupted. It was not engaging enough for me to finish.

Mr. Elmo, I suggest you lock Life in its room and give Andor another try. I am not an easy one to please, but I am most impressed with it.

Concur. The characters were for the most part very rounded. It was very true to the concept of people living under a repressive regime. There aren't "good guys" fighting "bad guys".

So good. More cerebral than some might prefer but well worth the time to watch.

I initially watched the first 3 episodes and was underwhelmed.

I just went back and watched the whole series. I was pleasantly surprised overall.

I think it was better than the Kenobi series.
