Well, I've been watching this and kind of enjoying it. I must say it is a big change from GoT in how narrow the focus is. In GoT, by the end of the first episode or two there were about 15 'point of view characters' who we were following around. In HotD there are only 3 or 4. I think what this most reminds me of is the early section of "I, Claudius" where Augustus is trying to do the right thing and at the same time keep his family together and happy, but failing miserably at every turn.

Mrs Elmo can't get into it and it is a bit slow. Three episodes and we are still trying to get Rhaenyra married. The original had much better pacing; I mean, Just watch S1E1.

Having read the stories, I knew it was coming but PornHub is going to need a Uncle/Niece category! Then again, doesn't every family have a story about the uncle who you were never to be alone with.

A tad slow, yes. The 4th episode picked up a bit. The female lead is good. The Uncle is goid but underused. It's lacking in a strong Bad Guy. I'm still in for the ride though.

I thought the Uncle was the Bad Guy?

I think that is open to interpretation Nasty. He may act in his own personal interest much of the time but he has been loyal to his brother, the King, overall.
