Rats. I was really hoping she'd break all the records. Won't see her like again. And the new PM is really new, as in the day before the Queen passed. This is going to be a little disruptive. Best wishes to the folks over there. |

Aye. 70 years as queen, and a solid rock and mother for all of the UK. I am already missing her. Elizabeth was already queen when I was born almost 70 years ago. I hope Charles can make as much of an impact. |

The CROWN will go on. Along with So many, the passing of The Queen 'feels' like a Big Hole left. Her presence provided 'Stability' throughout My life… unlike Politicians, Parties and the things they signed up to. I was watching the schoolkids trooping down the street on Friday morning… thinking 'End Of An Era'… BUT IT IS NOT. The Era will evolve into what THEY will make of it. Hopefully some will continue what WE believed in… and The Queen Backed up, very quietly. I have never accepted King Charles III's, (OMG, ain't That strange!), detractors. I think he will continue to do fine. He HAS done pretty well up to now in Many ways. Long Live The King! MANY 'World Leaders' have been 'less than uplifting' in comparison to Queen Elizabeth II… and They had 'Actual Power' denied to an UK Monarch, who can only 'influence' the populace. We had an Excellent Queen. |

King Charles III's, (OMG, ain't That strange!), There aren't many in this world who could remember a monarch other than the Queen. Personally I would love my obituary to say "died expectedly at age 96" I hear King Charles and I picture the big hair guy. C3 is probably an "interim" monarch with about 20 years max. If I were Kate Middleton I would stop taking car rides by myself. The US news is explaining succession. Too bad Archie is so far down the depth chart. Arthur II would be lit! |
