That was neat, John. Thanks for finding and posting it.

I found it ironic that they used Johnny Horton's "The Battle of New Orleans" tune and cadence for a British 'victory' song.

The music is an old American folk tune called the Eighth of January.

Johnny Horton had Billboard's top hit of 1959 singing it with Jimmy Driftwood's lyrics.
