I find the whole argument about throwing a marble through a picket fence silly.
First of all, there are many fibers on the path. That is if you aren't wearing a silly Superhero printed mask.
It's not a ballistic path, where the droplets will bounce off the first fiber and continue. The droplets do get tangled eventually. This is why it's a good idea to change those blue masks often, and not reuse them.

Is anything 100% effective? If you isolated in your bunker last October and didn't let anyone in since them, maybe.
But if a mask is 99% effective, I'm good.
Yes, it's annoying. Yes, if I burp I smell my breakfast. Yes, if I sneeze inside it, it's disgusting. Yes, unless I bend it just right, it figs my glasses.
But I'm a Real Man. I can take it. grin

I'm not going to argue with the Usual Suspects here, the grimly agenda driven. I'll just post this and move along. Don't expect me to respond to silly counter arguments.

I should have invested in PPE manufacturers back in January.

Like Marty Stuart? grin
Yeah. I don't think chin straps work very well either.

I hardly wear one at work, though of course in Pa am supposed to. Read many a story of religious mask wears still getting it. So it might be hit or miss but will see.
I know wearing a mask day in and day out can't be good either, if one of those cloth masks ( never had one yet) wash and rotate them.
