… was the phrase used by the announcers in the apologies for broadcasting player swearing (much more easily picked up in fan-empty stadia) for Canadian Premiere League Soccer. While they may have missed some off-colour Spanish expressions, I believe apologizing every time someone else swears is authentically Canadian. Good game, too. York9 vs Valour 0-0 with a reasonable amount of aggressiveness on the pitch and neither ignoring everything or calling everything (or, worse calling inconsistently) on the part of the ref squad. |
