I just recycled over 180 years of hobby magazines. I tried to sell them for cheap, but no one wanted them. So I recycled them. Kinda sad that I had to toss them in with the egg cartons. Oh well, I got my fun out of them.

I feel your pain. There is just no market for them.

I donated mine to the local club. They're going to try to sell them for a $1 USD each at the next Con. Or give them away to members if that doesn't work.

I also tossed a huge bunch of magazines. I tried selling them @ $1 USD each and got no takers.

out at our September con with a 'free to good home'
sign and they just melted away…

You might try university libraries, particularly big ones that do social history, see if they have a magazine collection. I donated a whole slew of old SF and fantasy magazines to the Texas A&M research collection. Got a wicked big tax writeoff for the year too.
