1) Blue Jays won a crushing game
2) Hamilton Tiger Cats win their season opener
3) Raptors win the NBA championship
4) Boston loses the Stanley Cup.

Thought the Warriors might pull it out, but the
Raptors came through.

Unfortunately, Toronto appears to think it is Chicago…….

Yep, gangbangers are Basketball fans. Luckily no one killed and all the perps were instantly caught. Unlike the situation in Chicago. Last year Toronto's murder rate spiked up and equaled that of NYC (on a per capita basis). Nothing to be proud of.

Toronto is changing Once we asked that Toronto be more like "New York" and we got it including the problems such as increased crime. soaring house prices and gridlock.

Glad to see Boston losing counts as a good day for you.

Don't worry, the Maple Laughs will win the cup next year.

Or the year after that.

Or the year after that.

Or the year after that.

Or the year after that.

Or the year after that.

Or the year after that.

Or the year after that.

Or the year after that.

Or the…..well you get the idea, 52 years of futility.

And counting.

Sorry to gall you George, but we are still allowed to have favourites. The Bruins aren't my favourite, neither are the Patriots. Deal with it.

Also, there is much more to Canada than Toronto. Your repetitive, OCD tinged comeback may have been funnier if I was Leaf fan.

While I may have favourites, I do know my sports. After the Bruins knocked off the Leafs early in the playoffs, I pegged them to make it to the Stanley Cup. They were peaking at the right time. And in a long season like the NHL, that is more important than standings. I'll admit I was cheering for the Blues as they were a true Cindarella story. So were many, many others, I hate to tell you. And it was Boston's Cup to lose.
