Why does there have to be so many games. FOW, team yankee, bolt action, blood and plunder, all the star wars games historical black powder games. Not too mention Saga and others. I only have so much money.

And not enough time to play them all!

A lot of wargame rule writers are like Ahab searching for the White Whale.

Not only games but figures also. Saga, 6 armies just for the 1st rulebook. Team Yankee it's not just Warsaw Pact vs Nato.

Let's not cross over to fantasy where we need the combatants, patrons in the pub, the street scene filled with vendors and shoppers, the palace with all those people and guards.

It's all compounded by the idea that you may have found the perfect set and everyone else prefers to play something else.
