My vegetarian friends aren't vegetarian for health reasons, they are vegetarians for moral reasons.

It's no secret that the salads are the highest calorie meals at McD's.

I know a couple people who are vegetarian for health reasons, not moral reasons. But it's more that meat doesn't agree with them, not that they think they're magically avoiding calories or anything by skipping meat.

Illusion of virtue. This is probably the only instance of that.
