RIP Stan Lee !

He had been having some major family issues with his daughter. I hope things ended on a brighter note for them. Great guy. He will be missed.

In his creations he humanized them with the faults and issues we all have. I will also miss his cameos in Marvel Universe movies!

RIP Stan

You provide me many a great times during the 1960 – the mid 1990's.

Stop buying Comics due to the way the story lines were going.

Trajanus12 Nov 2018 1:54 p.m. PST

Over the years his ideas and creations have made a lot of people happy and a lot of people in the Movie business very rich!

As one of the first group – Thanks Stan!

While never a fan of most of his comics or movies I always thought he was a cool guy. I've always loved people who appear in their own films and can laugh at themselves. RIP Stan.

FABET0112 Nov 2018 3:57 p.m. PST

Those Marvel movies just won't be the same without his cameos.

skippy000112 Nov 2018 5:18 p.m. PST

He'll always be in a Marvel movie. They'll put stills of him in a scene or show him in a magazine cover or on the net.

He will be greatly missed along with the others that passed before him.

He was Marvellous.

So many great characters.

Nuff said.

Coelacanth12 Nov 2018 6:26 p.m. PST

I missed out on his writing days, when he was carrying pretty much the entirety of the Marvel Universe around in his head. Still, his presence was felt as the face and the voice of Marvel. He had a way of making every reader feel like "one of the club", and his enthusiasm was infectious.

Rest in peace, Mr. Lee.

Heard this in the car on the way home today. It sucks. I don't care that he was 95, or that he was in ill health, it sucks. Godspeed and Fair Winds Mr. Lee. BRAVO ZULU sir.

WWII vet as well, serving in the Army Signal Corps. And, fittingly, his last public action was to share a bit of that while honoring his fellow veterans, in a social media post he made for Veteran's Day: link

Thank you for your service, and for all the grand adventures!

Excelsior!

Best tribute to Stan Lee :

"He had a life that vastly exceeds his passing."

US Army Playwright makes good. Western civilization needed a Stan Lee, we're lucky he was there.
