So, today is my last day at work after 40 yrs. I walked through the hallowed gates of the Canadian Coast Guard College in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on Aug 28, 1978…(yes, 3 yrs of education was all pensionable time!), graduating in June, 1981, spending 32 total years in the Canadian Coast Guard (10 yrs in the fleet….) and then 8 years as Director of the Canadian Ice Service. A wonderful career, where I met wonderful people and did some really interesting and exciting things! enjoyed it all. Time now to open some new doors….. Dave |

Enjoy retirement! I retired 20 months ago after 43 years in nursing & have enjoyed every minute! Thanks for your service to your country (I'm in the USA). |
