I disapprove of cannibalism, and on some remote islands, that makes me nuts.

Of course gaming is a mental health disorder – unlike
those who obsess about multiple biting insects, for
example (poly-ticks)

That of course is only right and proper since it
delves into controlling others…

I really must admit to being a bit of a control freak.

I'd like, at times, to have a giant 'PAUSE' button to
put elements of humanity on 'HOLD' for a bit.

That probably is a REAL mental disorder…

This may not be as dumb as it sounds. Most people who play video games more than others think they should just have some questionable habits, but a few are truly dependent. There are physiological symptoms (anger, sleep disruption) that wouldn't occur with garden variety over-indulgence. So while this is probably not the mass epidemic some people say it is, for some people video games are genuinely destructive.

As for our gaming, that's a different story. It starts with the occasional game with a friend and ends up with lying in a gutter grumbling about an Osprey book using the *same* color of orange-red for both the cuffs and cuff flaps of the 1st Cuirassiers while panhandling for a can of primer. Every time. And WHO could care less.

I've had firebombing threats against me for even suggesting that I might want to paint the tartan on the Queen's Rangers Highlanders red.
Well, I'm pretty sure I got those threats.
How else do you explain….. What was that?

Double plus ungood, Winston…

It is the paint fumes Winston – all those years of painting miniatures before water based acrylics came along.

Winston,

Time to stop listening to those voices in your head.

On the other hand, for some friends are hard to come-by.

People who play computer/consol games much it's negatively affects their life, have a problem no different then gambling addiction.
By WHO saying it is a genuine thing. It will be easier for people to get the help they need. No point in going all New World order conspiracy theory Bleeped text.

Thing is I do not believe in most of the things that they claim as mental health issue.

Oh and the computer game companies are doing a great job of treating these types of individuals with their inability to put out any decent games that are worth playing.

Now what is the addiction called for watching videos of…

kittens & puppies
