I don't know if to laugh or cry for those poor people.
I wonder where she (Liang Xiangyi) is now. I'm sure she must have tons of wedding offers waiting for her, from people outside of Communist China who appreciate an expressive human partner.
PS. By contrast the robot next to her just kept on talking, without so much as a break, as per her Party programming:

Well, it is just fortunate that nothing like that would ever happen here in the US.

Not yet. But soon coming to a place near you.
If you can believe it, some people in the West call what she is doing "bullying", and discipline it as such. So our social conditioning has already begun, exploiting the fear some people have of being branded/labeled.

You would be getting a special visit, publicly shamed and (best case scenario) already be on your way to a re-education camp by now, just for that!

There is a school near me that has a poster that says "rolling ones eyes" is bullying. Getting more insane every day.

I remember grandma telling me "don't sweat the small stuff". I guess the lesson to kids in the Free World today has become "panic over the smallest stuff".

"Not yet. But soon coming to a place near you."
Actually the US media has done it often.
Semi recent example:

Oooo yes, I remember that too well. :)
The problem is when all the major networks and outlets synchronize their cycles/periods, and yet some silly people still claim that not all US media shares the same dorm. :)
They are so connected with each other (and politicians in the Party), by business interests and even marriage, that they are as indistinguishable from each other as Europe's royal families. No one has a voice that isn't just an echo of the others.
