Ever since she was around 50 she and I have always had an ongoing joke that she was born on the Ides of March and then I ask her if it was before or after Julius Caesar's demise. Mom was 41 when I was born, so I've never really seen her as being old. And she certainly looks like she forgets all her aches and pains the moment there's a basketball game on. She knows every single professional player and their stats. It's unbelievable. So, as my present this year, I got her all the sports channels possible. I think she's going to like that. She deserves it. Dan
PS. Dad will be turning 95 in August. To this day I always have a hard time figuring out what he likes. Oh well, I'll think of something. |

Mom says thanks to all of you, and that she had a wonderful time last night. I can tell she's going to have a lot of fun with her new channels. She talked to a couple of her older siblings in Puerto Rico and even Skyped with her younger sister (90 years old) living in Florida. She had a lot of excitement last night I think, with all the grandkids specially, so she might need to recharge a little today. Thanks so much you guys!!! Dan |
