I was thinking they could always have a competition based on who can be more self-effacing and gracious about sharing the award.

I was surprised that they didn't look at the thousandth of a sec like they do in ties in Speed Skating.

But I must say, the reaction by one of the German athletes when the Canadians tied them is priceless. grin

Canada tied with the Italians in the 2 men bobsleigh in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. It's not unheard of.

I was aware of that – it actually makes things worse: they've had 20 years to come up with a suitable tie-break procedure: but they haven't bothered evil grin
