"Another day, another burger made out of anything other than buns.

The latest sees bread switched out for Yorkshire pudding, creating a sort of Sunday roast burger.

It is served in Rift & Co, which is the fancy new name for Vodka Revs, and was the brainchild of bar manager Jeremy Rose.

"I have seen the doughnut burger on a menu in a Leeds restaurant and thought I wanted to try and do something different," he said…"

Hmm, not sure about that. I love burgers, and I love Yorkshires, but burger buns need to have a bit of purchase on the burger, and some degree of absorbance and yorkies have neither – there will be a burger shooting out across the table when you try to bite down on this thing.

Now, if you baked the pudding with the burger in the middle of it, THAT would work.
