…lot of fish despite it being an island in the Caribbean?

"I hear about a lot of Cuban food and hear about it from a few friends who have visited, but fish never comes up very prominently. Considering it's a large island in the Caribbean, I'd expect the exact opposite. Is there a reason fish doesn't seem to be a big part of Cuban cuisine?…"

Cuban food is the "White Bread Minnesota Food" of the Caribbean…it's a good intro, but the other islands have SO MUCH MORE to offer in the way of culinary delights!
