It is really flaky. I can access sites like TMP, but Google won't come up at all on I.E. Google Chrome allows me to go to the sites like TMP that I have pinned. But not Outlook or Gmail, so, no email access whatsoever. Earlier my machine said I am connected, but NOTHING was coming up, no matter what I clicked on, the broken page icon was all I got. Now parts are working and others not. This is not like anything I've seen before.

And while I wrote that, Outlook came back online. But Gmail is still lobotomized. I, do, not, under, stand, any, thing……………..

Have you tried turning the internet off and back on again?

Everything. Unplugged the modem. Rebooted. Disconnected and reconnected. The Troubleshooter says everything is fine. Eh?

In the intervening time, Gmail/Google has come back online. And I.E. is working again. Something major(?) was going on. For a bit, I was trying to talk to a Centurylink "representative", but couldn't get through (then my phone started to die, it often happens that way, the timing, I mean).

And I seem to remember an additional recording to the effect that email services were temporarily suspended. I thought that they were only talking about Centurylink email services: why would they be making a blanket statement that covered all or most email services? I've never heard of such a thing before.

And now, for some reason never seen before, the bottom of the TMP page won't rise above the taskbar, making "Done" very hard to get to.

So the simple solution to this one is, put the taskbar on the right side. Heh!
