I know I'm alone in the world on this – but I wasn't sure the "Guardians of the Galaxy" style of the the latest Thor movie was such a good idea in the long run. Of course I laughed, but I also felt a distinctive "Thor-ness" was missing. I was really expecting a GotG cameo at some point….maybe next movie? |

I liked it. I cant put my objections in words. But I came out thinking the movie was good, but not that it was great. Definitely worth seeing though, because it is an integral part of the major story line, and not a fun side story like spiderman. |

I'll be seeing it tomorrow from what I've seen in the trailers I should like it. |

Well I saw it today and really enjoyed it a lot. I couldn't really find anything wrong with it. |

Well I saw it last weekend and I certainly enjoyed it. Of all the Avengers stable (I'm excluding Guardians, just the Earth based chapters) this was definitely the most jokey outing. In retrospect, probably too much emphasis on getting laughs, but the alternative would have been a higher degree of doom, death and loss, which I think we'll get in shovel loads with Infinity War. Assuming that's the case, I think Ragnarok's tone might be viewed as a welcome alternative to the darkness of Civil War and before that Winter Soldier, which were both pretty glum. I'll certainly be adding Ragnarok to the collection when it comes out on DVD. Gary |
