Those looking to punctuate their smiles with deeper dimples have two options. They can go to a licensed clinic and pay upward of 8,000 baht per cheek or pay someone at an underground clinic to push metal pins through both cheeks for about 900 baht…

Of all the really stupid things to do to your face … geesh!

PS. I'm convinced there must be some sort of contest somewhere, for the one who comes up with the dumbest stunt or fad, and another prize for the bigger idiots who follow the first idiot blindly, no questions asked.

Ya just can't fix stupid!

Yes, stupid is impossible to fix – Nature, though, has
a way of reducing the stupid in any population…

Not dimple piercing, but I have seen numerous idiots in their 20's who have moved from simple ear piercing to having 1" plugs in their ear lobes. The fools don't realize that the plugs will permenantly enlarge the opening in the lobes.

Yes. But we seem to keep interrupting Nature from doing what it's supposed to do.

Re: The 1" plugs. Yes, they probably do realize what it will do. They probably just don't give it any long term thought. Nobody in their twenties ever believes they will be forty or, Heaven forbid, fifty, and that their attitudes about things they do (especially permanent things) might change.

I predict plastic surgeons will make a nice little sideline out of restoring people's earlobes, etc., about thirty years from now.

Dimple-piercing, 1" plugs in their ear lobes, I give you:

Cheaper and tastier to go with the Spring Surprise from Wizzo Chocolate Company. Though that particular sweet may have been discontinued.
