Starting this Saturday. Meanwhile,The Community Shield match saw Chelsea and Arsenal with a 1-1 draw after regulation and stoppage time,so it went to a penalty kick shootout. Goonahs win 4-1 on pens. Olivier Giroud kicking in the final goal, and Arsene Wenger keeping his job for now.

korsun0 Supporting Member of TMP08 Aug 2017 5:41 a.m. PST

As a Goonah I anticipate a loss in the first game, near top of the table at christmas and a steady drop after with lack of progress in any competition except the FA cup…….

My pick for the title is, unfortunately, Manure. They have made some good buys.

Old Wolfman08 Aug 2017 6:52 a.m. PST

Prince Rupert of the Rhine09 Aug 2017 1:22 a.m. PST

As a Saints (Southampton) fan I look forward to another season of trying to compete with teams whose squads cost more than the value of the whole club I support and watching Liverpool turnout with half a team of ex Southampton players…. While hopefully battling it out for another exciting mid table finish.

korsun0 Supporting Member of TMP11 Aug 2017 4:24 a.m. PST

Makes a change, used to be Arsenal was half Saints, half French……

Prince Rupert of the Rhine11 Aug 2017 11:27 p.m. PST

Well we kicked off with a bit of a goalfest two teams that might need to work on their defence…

korsun0 Supporting Member of TMP12 Aug 2017 4:44 a.m. PST

Indeed, but at least my lot showed some fighting spirit for once…..

korsun0 Supporting Member of TMP13 Aug 2017 5:48 a.m. PST
