I just returned from a European vacation. It was great! I met up with a few TMPers and former members, saw the Tiger Exhibit at Bovington and the RAF Museum outside London. I had a few hundred Pounds Sterling in my PayPal account that I figured I would leave in that currency so I could just use it while there. Turns out that's not quite so easy as PayPal's debit card only works in dollars even though the charges are in Euros or Pounds. You have to convert the currency to dollars to use it – and the mobile app doesn't have that option. I got PayPal to convert for free, plus give me a little something for my trouble, so all's well. They still haven't issued chip cards, but magstripe still works. Wyatt |

So I can buy my hobby stuff abroad, hide it in the luggage, and the Mrs will never know how much I spent on toys because she doesn't access my PayPal account? That's awesome! Dan |
