Do not run (or walk, even)to your local bookie with
these:

NFC East Cowboys 10-6 Eagles 9-7 Giants 9-7 Skins 6-10
West Seattle 11-5 Cards 10-6 Rams 4-12 49'ers 3-13
North Packers 11-5 Vikes 10-6 Lions 5-11 Bears 4-12
South Falcons 11-5 Bucs 10-6 Saints 8-8 Panthers 6-10
Wild Card: Cowboys over Giants Seahawks over Bucs
2nd Round: Falcons over Cowboys Packers over Seahawks
NFC championship: Falcons over Packers
(Giants and Bucs make playoffs based on div record,
although things could break such that the Cards and
Vikings make it instead of Giants/Bucs)

AFC East Patriots 15-1 Miami 7-9 Bills 6-10 Jets 2-14
West Raiders 12-4 Chiefs 9-7 Chargers 8-8 Denv 7-9
North Steelers 12-4 Ravens 9-7 Bengals 7-9 Browns 3-13
South Titans 11-5 Texans 9-7 Jags 8-8 Colts 6-10
Wild Card: Titans over Chargers Raiders over Ravens
2nd Round: Steelers over Raiders Pats over Titans
AFC Championship: Pats over Steelers

Superbowl LII (52, for those who care):
Falcons over Patriots

I pick the Geelong Cats for a surprise, come from behind win in the Superbowl.

Atlanta will be lucky to get 6 wins. The Patriots devastated their morale so badly they won't recover. You don't blow a 25 point lead in the Super Bowl and ever recover. The coin toss in overtime was a mere formality.
Stick a fork in. It will take a long time to recover from that.

I think Denver can pull 10 wins. I don't expect the Bolts to go over 500

So, are the Geelong Cats leaving Melbourne (I think it's
Melbourne) to join the NFL ????

Too early to have a meaningful prediction. Let's do it again a week before the regular season starts. Otherwise training camp injuries can radically change a teams chances.

That is correct – but those sorts of injuries can happen
anytime. I do a lot of researching and that's my best
shot at what a team *should* accomplish.

Suspensions, too, for whatever reason, can have an effect
greater than an injury to a key player.

There's a school of thought among some sports psychology
types that the Patriots won the Super Bowl as a smack
in the kisser for King Roger….

Rams v. Browns in the Superbowl. Rams win 6-3 in triple overtime.

You heard it here first.

Now *that* would be *special* !
