In Britain we call a sausage in puff pastry a sausage roll, a traditional British snack food. Gregg's, famous for selling them have more outlets in the Uk than McDonalds

Call it what it is.

Trader Joe's calls that a "puff dog"? Hadn't noticed. But then again, there are multiple names for everything, as each person looks for the catchiest one for their target audience.

Mmmmmm Ginster's Sausage Rolls. Whenever I get back to the UK for work, I stop at the first services I come to and buy a Ginster's Sausage Roll. I love them.
