Heard him crying to the media after that butt kicking last night by Golden State, something to the effect of "Well they lost in the finals to us last year, then went out and got Durant, not much we can do about that"……………

Good Lord, what a crybaby.

Sack up LeBron, you were gifted a ring last year thanks to a moron from the Warriors being suspended for the infamous nut punch after they were up in the series, you're the best player on the planet (your nickname is "the king", right?), so stop crying.

This from a guy who left Cleveland, colluded with that used car salesman Pat Riley to grease the skids in Miami, Boch came along with him and joined Wade for a championship run, then he saw the handwriting on the wall and bailed and went back to Cleveland to join forces with that lunkhead Love and Irving for another run.

Give it a rest LeBron…………….

Dunno why you wanna slam LBJ that way, Double G.

All he did was state the truth – I don't watch a whole
lot of NBA these days since all it is anymore is who has
the most cash and hence can entice the best players.

And these days, the players themselves, including LBJ,
will get together (not necessarily in person) and decide
how to create a super team to chase That Ring, without
the interference of owners, coaches, GM's, etc.

No point to it anymore.

Ed nailed it. I gave up during the Bull's run in the 90s. 6 championships in 8 years. This is even worse. 3 finals in a row with the same teams. Remind me again why the regular season is even played?

College hoops is still pretty fun to watch.

I like to follow the NBA from a "meta" perspective: a league in which 2/3 have NO HOPE yet still thrives. A league in which players have all the power. A league in which a GM cannot really "build" a team, but hope to inherit one. Fascinating.

As for the regular season, nearly 90% of championships are won by 1 and 2 seeds, and those are pretty well set by half way through. Yuck.

That dagger last night by Durant was something else.

Step aside Bron Bron; there's a new king in town and his last name is Durant.

Down 0-3, now what Cleveland?
