We've now all heard about the Nashville Predators fan who was arrested for throwing a catfish on the ice during the Stanley Cup Finals game against the Penguins. Predators fans may be wondering whether the same act at a home game could land you behind bars in Nashville as well. Pennsylvania and Tennessee have different criminal laws. Let's take a look at the offenses the fan was charged with in Pittsburgh to see how they would hold up in Tennessee. Would the Criminal Charges Apply In Nashville? link |

Hilarious! I've heard that Pittsburgh fish markets are refusing to sell catfish to anyone with an out-of-state driver's license. I suspect that restriction actually would be illegal. Crybabies, indeed. |

They said repeatedly, "Do not throw catfish in PPG Paints Arena Arena." You get what you get and you don't get upset. Would the Criminal Charges Apply In Nashville? I reckon if that was the wish of the arena owners there…which I doubt. |

Don't they throw octopi on the ice in Detroit hockey games??? link What's the difference? Recipes? |

The difference is that the Detroit arena condones that behavior. |

I think it's rather rich for any hockey rink to be upset about anything relatively harmless being thrown on the ice, when they don't seem to have any problem at all with men bludgeoning each other enough to draw blood, lose teeth, or even break bones while on that same ice. It's got nothing to do with "not condoning" anything. It has to do only with team pride. If Pittsburgh fans came up with something to throw on the ice as celebration, the arena would probably condone that in a heartbeat. Especially if it sold more tickets. |

Catfish are getting thrown tonight. Preds ahead 5-1 in the 3rd. That "FWAP" you hear is a bunch of Penguins getting smacked repeatedly with our local delicacy. Maybe the little ice birds should call the cops to come protect them. |

Somebody forgot to bring the catfish. That's okay, though. There are plenty here. |
