Remember seeing an Australian (well think it was Australian) crime drama quite a while back. The only scene I can remember was near the start of the movie as it really grabbed the attention. A girl is walking down a street, nothing extraordinary is happening, when completely out of the blue she is hit by a car. The rest of the movie involves, I think, gangs and the girl's friend(s) trying to track down who was responsible. The story line may not be exactly like that, but can anyone help to identify this movie?

Thanks,

Ezza

Two Hands has a young male hit by a car, plot involves stealing money from a gang, but was more a comedy crime movie from late 90s(?).

Samson and Delilah is a story of two indigenous kids, she gets run down by a car, but isn't killed. Good movie, tragic but confronting.

Thanks korsun0, perhaps it was Two Hands I was thinking about after all. Fits time from of late '90s and may have had something to do with stealing money from a gang. Will check it out to see if it was this movie.
